Saving Characters not supported

I just started the game and was creating my characters. I wished they had the ability to save created characters and not the fixed 6 characters spaces.

The only way I can see is by creating a team, save the game and create new characters for another saved game.

Have not been able to play but appreciated updates from the original game when it was fist released.
