Quite simply, I went back to the game today and no sound....no music...nothing....iPad air 2 has some everywhere else...and when I played it yesterday for first time sound was there. So without sound I cannot recommend this game. This is a serious bug.

A port that improves on a classic. UI improvements and expanded character creation options on top of new content makes for a compelling package. An easy recommendation to anyone hunting for one of the greats of CRPGs.

During 99% of my game play, Icewind is very enjoyable, but I have never been able to complete a game due to either (1) being unable to get past a door whose passage critical to proceeding, (2) being in need of a potion or scroll in an area of the game where they cannot be acquired, or (3) because, I assume, Im missing an item or completion of a task, neither of which is identified in any walk throughs. Today, after my highly-skilled thief tried picking a lock on a door for an hour (and, yes, all walk thrus say this door can be opened by picking or bashing), I give up on this game because it failed the "fun" test.

There is a game stopping bug on dragon eyes level 5 just right before you fight the boss, the door wont open and cant be lock picked. Basically stopping the game from progressing any further. I played this on the pc and also reconfirmed online there is absolutely no key required, the doors should automatically open. As it stands now the game is unplayable, all the time wasted just to be stuck. Update beamdog is actively working on a solution very good customer support also if you restart sometime it works.

If you arent playing on an a iPad only play on the new 6 because otherwise the screen is to small, and you wont be able to read some important info. It is a great game, and I am glad I got it.

Ive been trying to get a game like fallout on my idevice and this is it! A little bit pricy but its completely worth the cash if it was ported

I agree that this game should not be sold for iPhone. Screen is too small for it . You cant manipulate small objects or see what you are doing. It is a waste of money . I bet most of reviews are fake of from people who played it on PC.

Amazing port. Im playing it on a tiny 4S and its totally doable. The game itself is quite hard and very fun, honestly like 30+ hours for a first playthrough. Not as much content as BG but more replayable because you can create a whole custom party right off the bat. Youll probably start several new games before getting too far into it. Its like Path of Exile with pausing. If youve never played an Infinity Engine game, I imagine this would be hard to learn on iOS. But being already comfortable with the gameplay this is a pure and functioning port. Does NOT have the sidebar bug currently present in the BG port. F***ing awesome <3

I cant find the item descriptions or weapon descriptions anywhere on the iPhone 6. Does anyone know where I can find that?

Its very demanding, but the reward is hours of fun! Enjoy.

I played this on my PC back in the day and Overhaul has stayed true and even improved on the original - great job Overhaul!!

I had been enjoying the game on my iPad 2 but now that I have an iPad Air 2, the sound does not work. Please fix!

Every time I kill the kill final dragon in heart of winter the game crashes. It makes the game nearly worthless because I cant get back icewinddale. It will be would be a 5 if this gets fixed.

I love this game. The only improvement I would like to see is the ability to update scripts.

If you love RPG this is your game! Good story, good graphics and lots of fun. And if you liked this try A Bards Tale by Inxile. Another great rpg.

I never got to play this game. After paying the ridiculous ten dollars I deleted practically every app on my phone. Leaving 2.7 gigs. But the app refused to download, saying I still lacked space. I tried deleting the app and re-downloading it but to no avail. I have been scammed. Even if unintentionally. And formally request a refund if at all possible. Thanks for listening and I hope I can give the game a better review in the future.

What a blast from the past. This game is one of the best ports on the ipad yet!. There are a few major issues with bugs that need to be worked out, namely the txtbox issue and game crashing. Worth the $10. Get it now
